I am Miss White, the Reading Specialist at St. Stephen’s. My focus is on specialized reading instruction and making sure that the literacy needs of each student K-5 are being met.
A little about myself:
I have lived in Grand Island my entire life. I attended Canisius College for my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education with an extension in Middle School English. I returned to Canisius for my Master’s Degree in Literacy K-12. Reading is one of my biggest passions in life.
Fun Facts:
- I have four brothers and one sister.
- I have an Australian Shepard named Remington and a hedgehog named Yoshi.
- My favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast.
- My mom is my best friend and is the cafeteria manager at St. Stephen’s, I love seeing my mom every day!
