We read lots of books about penguins and learned that there are 17 different kinds! We used a tape measure to show how big each one is and compared that to our heights. We talked about what penguins eat, how they stay warm, and acted out how they move. We followed a directed drawing to draw a penguin and then added them to a scene of Antarctica, to show how they waddle, slide, glide, dive, jump, and swim
