Today, we began learning about 2D shapes. We worked in groups to build squares and rectangles. We talked about how they are alike and different. We counted the sides and vertices. Tomorrow, we will learn about circles and triangles!

We love practicing our math skills with mini eraser math centers! We can identify numbers, count, add, subtract, make a ten, solve word problems, compose, decompose, and compare numbers.

In kindergarten, we read in small groups, with a partner, and independently. We listen to LOTS of read alouds. We gain confidence and fluency with our skills, but most importantly, we develop a love of reading!
